I have this refugium:

I had it for 4 months and the Via Aqua 820 powerhead has already broken..

What other pump can I use with this? I want to get another brand that is longer lasting.

thanks:mad:

Mine came with a Rio 600 pump.

Yeah I think Rios are better than the Via Aqua. I had one and the Via broke in 7 mos.

It is a CPR AquaFuge 2 Hang-on Refugium, Large.

So the RIO 600 works for this model?

Maxijet is better than rio.

I have a Via Aqua pump on mine too... but I know a maxi jet would work.

I used a Maxijet 600 on one for years, then I got a 20g refugium. ;)

Yeah, I've got a CPR AquaFuge II (large w/o skimmer) and it came with a Rio 600. I have to dial down the flow using the valve to prevent bubbles from entering the tank. It works great, I like it a lot.
