I removed the sponge from my skimmer.

After I removed the sponge from my skimmer it has now not skimmed anything in a 12 hour period.

I guess I have to put it back on.

Grrrr...

I need to buy a better HOB skimmer then.

it will take time for the skimmer to start working after it is disturbed. give in another few days.

I temporarily put a new sponge on it as I need it working ASAP.

I think it will work better with no sponge after I clean it first.
