Ultra-Phos is a new aluminium based adsorber which safely removes phosphates and humic substances from the aquarium. The pollutants are bound to the surface of Ultra Power-Phos and will not be released again.
Ultra Power-Phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your tank. Unwanted Algae growth will be stopped and corals will show their natural colours.
Keep away from children.
Not to be used for animals used for food production.
Do not inhale, do not swallow.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Instructions and Dosing recommendation
Please do all changes in the aquarium carefully and slowly. Start with 50 gr per 200 L / 50 gal. of water. After 14 days the dose can be increased up to 100 gr per 200 L / 50 gal. of water, do NOT overdose!
Check phosphate concentration regularly with reliable test kits, e.g. from Salifert, Macherey & Nagel, or Merck/Rowa.
In case the PO4 level starts to increase again, exchange Ultra-Phos for fresh material. Do not use more than 100 g (3.5 oz) per 200 L (50 gal). We recommend to place the material in a filter chamber with high flow, only there it will provide its maximum performance.
In case of extremely low PO4 levels and non-detectable Nitrate levels Ultra-Phos should not be used.
Ultra-Phos is extremely strong and suitable for tanks with a high nutrient load. Ultra-Phos also removes unwanted organic compounds and yellowness. In tanks with high organic load (yellowish water) it may take a little while before the PO4 reduction becomes measurable. This is a normal process, you will notice the color change of the Ultra-Phos from white to yellow and the much clearer water in the aquarium.
For a slower adsorption rinse the filled filter bag with osmotic water before use. To obtain best results and maximize adsorbtion efficiency, place the material between two layers of filter wool or use a fluidized-bed-reactor.
In case you use the material in a fluidized bed reactor, please consider the much higher efficiency of the material. Reduce the amount of Ultra-Phos by 50 % and carefully control the flow through the filter.
Ultra-Phos will become warm, when first immersed in water. Do not rinse the material.
Available in 1000 ml/2500 ml and 5500 ml

Ultra Power-Phos is a new wet Iron-hydroxide based adsorber which safely removes silicates and phosphates from the aquarium. The pollutants are bound to the surface of Ultra Power-Phos and will not be released again.
Ultra Power-Phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your tank. Unwanted Algae growth will be stopped and corals will show their natural colours.
Instructions and Dosing recommendation:
Please do all changes in the aquarium carefully and slowly. Start with 100 ml per 300 L of water. After 5 days the dose can be increased up to 150 ml per 300 L of water. Never use more than 200 ml for 300 L of water.
To obtain best results and maximize adsorbtion efficiency, place the material between two layers of filter wool or use a fluidized-bed-reactor.
Check phosphate concentration regularly with reliable test kits, e.g. from Salifert, Macherey & Nagel, or Merck / Rowa.
Do NOT use UltraPowerPhos in tanks that already have very low phosphate concentrations.
If phosphate concentrations start to increase again, exchange UltraPowerPhos for fresh material.
UltraPowerPhos is suitable for fresh and seawater. The material can warm up when getting wet for the first time. The red colouration of the water is caused by the fine dust attached to the adsorber. It is not harmful and vanishes quickly. Do NOT rinse the adsorber before use.

Ultra Life as a carrier material to feed amino acids to clams
Mix a few drops of Ultramin S and Ultra-live and feed this to your Tridacna clams. You will be surprised to see the increase in coloration!
UltraLive is a highly active natural clay mineral that adsorbs Nitrate, Nitrite, and Phosphates. The pollutants will be bound onto the mineral and can be removed by the skimmer.
Its large surface area allows for easy colonization with bacteria. Its has a unique Ion-exchanger capacity. UltraLive efficiently binds ammonia, ammonium, prevents nitrite ad nitrate formation and reduces detritus. It removes unwanted yellowness and toxic substances. Ultralife increases the efficiency of the protein skimmer, especially when using food rich in fat, like Cyclop Eeze or Ultramin F.
Instruction for use and dosing recommendations:
Please do all changes in the aquarium slowly and carefully monitor the water quality!
Mix 1 Teaspoon in 100 ml of Reverse Osmosis or de-ionized water. Shake well for 30 seconds before use. The normal dose of 10 ml for 40 L of water can be increased up to threefold. In newly established tanks or with freshly introduced fishes use twice the normal dose. In tanks with high No2-, NH3-, NH4- concentrations, use the fourfold dose daily until nutrient levels come down.
UltraLive is a natural product that can be extremely helpful in many cases, it is NOT a substitute for regular water changes.
Content: 100 ml
Highly active natural clay mineral
Binds ammonia, ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, Phosphate
Removes unwanted yellowness and organic pollutants
Prevents wet skimming

UltraLith is a specially formulated Zeolite for reduction of nutrient concentrations in marine aquaria. This Zeolite provides nitrate- and ammonium-reducing bacteria an ideal environment. By using a composition of different Zeolites, carefully selected for their specific physical and chemical properties, this filter medium will reduce nutrient concentrations fast and effectively.
Dosing:
Please do all changes to your tank extremely carefully!
In older tanks with high nutrient concentrations please reduce the phosphate concentrations with Ultraphos first.
Carefully wash the material before use. In the beginning, please use only 500 g of Ultralith for 400 L / 100 gal. of water. After 30 days the amount can be increased to up to 1000 g for 400 L / 100 gal.. Exchange 25 % of UltraLith for fresh material after 6 weeks.
Place the material into our special UltraLith-Reactor, use a powerful potfilter or in a place in the sump that has high water flow.
Clean UltraLith weekly from sediments and detritus by rinsing it in aquarium water.
To activate UltraLith, add UltraBio or similar products to the filter during the first 14 days.
By feeding the bacteria with UltraBak the material will be colonized rapidly and start reducing the nutrient concentration in the aquarium.
The added carbon source will be consumed by the bacteria during denitrification, while the added amino acids, nutrients and Vitamins will supply the corals and filter feeders with nutrients, as the aquarium will become nutrient limited in a short time. Due to this nutrient limitation it is important to feed the corals and filter feeders sufficiently. We have developed a whole range of specially dedicated products: Ultra Bak, UltraMin S und Ultramin F / UltraClam
During the start-up phase of the filtration system, control the nutrient concentration and other water parameter regularly and observe any changes in your tank. Switch off all disinfecting systems (e.g. UV light, ozone)during feeding and bacteria addition for about 4 weeks. While feeding do not use Ozon. Change water 10% week and use quality salt as Tropic Marin or Reef Crystals

Ion exchanger Resin
Mixed Cation/Anion resin for Ion exchanger collums, e.g. ATS Silicate Filter or Aqualight-Filter.
Always install the filter BEHIND a reverse osmosis system. Check conductivity or hardness of the effluent water regularly, in case of increasing levels the resin has to be exchanged.
Regeneration of Ultra MB 20 is not economical.
Ultra MB 20 is a mixed Cation/Anion resin for the removal of all remaining ions after reverse osmosis. The water has the highest purity and is absolutely free of silicate. Due to its unrivalled binding capacity Ultra MB 20 is a very economical way to achieve highest water quality.
By effectively removing all silicate, diatom growth will be stopped, Planarias and growth of unwanted slime algae will be reduced.
