Anyone ever have a clown fish jump out of their tank?

I found mine on the floor when I got home from work.

Yup, I lost one a few weeks ago. A Percula that I had for two years, and that was with egg crate on top! I never expected that.

Common jumpers...should definitely cover your tank.

+2. Lost an onyx. The mate is lonely now. I cover my tank with pond netting after the jumping.

Mine haven't jumped out of the tank, knock on wood, but they have jumped in the overflows and into a little breeder box for livebearers that I put in my tank to get some corals to attach to rocks.

This is the first I've ever heard of this phenomena.

I've heard about this for the smaller clowns, but what about the larger clowns. I've got a 4" maroon clown. Has anyone had a larger clown jump out.

Mine splashed me in the face this afternoon.

My 3 year old onyx female made the jump last winter. Broke my heart.

For larger clowns, my LFS lost a maroon when it jumped out of one of their coral tanks.
