What is the process to bring a fish out of QT/Hypo? I have them slowly coming up with the salinity at 1.011 now but I was wondering how fast should you go? Can you bring it up a few points per day or is that too fast? I don't want to cause any salinity shock for the fish.

What I do is remove 1/3 of the water from the QT, then begin adding high-salinity (1.040+) SW via drip. I test the SG every few hours and remove more water from the tank as needed. I try to bring them from 1.009 to 1.025 over three days, no less. If the fish show signs of stress, I stop the drip for a few hours and then resume.

I change about 1/5 of the water every day for 5 days. The last two days you need to use water with a sp grav over 1.025. I aim to increase the sp grav .03 a day. So far my fish have done fine with this method.

I've done .02 per day and had no problems.

About .02 per day, should take approximately a week, and that is what I believe is recommended.
