pressure solenoid // float valve not working properly ??

I have installed pressure activated solenoid and float valve kit to mi maxxima deluxe 60 // when the float valve is closed the systems shuts down for a few seconds then back on then off on off on usually lasting for approx 15sec intervals.... never just shuts off. i have purged all air out of lines and there are no leaks.
any ideas??

Sounds like you need a Check valve on your product line...

Same one I have if it's hooked up like this then I would say a bad solenoid.
It does take a long time to completely shut off so if it's not off in an hour I would say you have a problem.

wow thats a long time to shut off. urs takes an hour?
its definitely hooked up the same way. .... another thing is when it turns back on it make a screeching sound

Sounds like pressure is bleeding back through the membrane and causing the ASO to cycle on and off... Look for a check valve and check line pressure...

well maybe not an hour but I expected it to turn off faster when I first hooked it up.

thanks for all the help. it ended up being a faulty check valve
