Xenia and overdose of calcium

My calcium went over 500 due to overdosing. I stopped the two part system and the calcium is coming down (currently about 460) My xenia looks dark and stringy on some of the stalks and they are not opening and closing as vigorously as before. Are these xenia a goner? Is there anything I can do besides gettting the calcium in line to help them out?

the 500+ cal. shouldn't be a concern unless you are seeing a cloudy tank.

if the cal. just up fast then the xenia is prob. just PO'ed but shouldn't cause any deaths.
