i think aga messed up my tank

so i have been gone for a long time and back now and setting up my tank its all plummed up and water in and i put water in the over flow and it leaked everywhere, so i take it off and the hole drilled from the factory is only about 1/8th " from the overflow, i was thinking to cut off the sylicone and cutting the bulk head. will that work? ill cover it with aquarium sealant to but idk what to do. help please

I almost had the same problem with my oceanic... the bulkhead could be mounted over the silicone on the back of the tank. Fortunately I was able to get it in place without the integrity being lost, but it was way too close for comfort. You can trim the silicone a bit if needed, but make sure you don't get too close. Any way you can get AGA involved and look to get a replacement tank or fix? If it's not established, and a new tank (even if it's a few months), I'd probably look at a warranted fix.
