How Much Cheato Do I Need?

How many soccer-ball sixed clumps of cheato would I need to be an effective filter for a 700 gal SPS tank? Also, I plan on using MH to light it, but what else can I do to maximize growth? In case your wondering, I do plan on using a Bubble King skimmer.

if you have exccessive nutrient issues then you shouldnt have an issue growing it with those lights...

IMO MH are overkill to grow chaeto. Not energy efficient. Chaeto grow well even with the flood lamps or T5s, and you don't need high wattage. Just my .02

i agree that metal halide is too much. i would just go with some energy efficient and cheaper compact flourescent lights, or t-5. i would go with a couple clumps and let them grow. chaeto will grow until it keeps up with nutrient demand, and then will stop growing and just maintain itself.
