What is the benifit of dosing Essential Elements in reef aquarium ?

IMO there is none if you are doing your regular water changes.

your salt mix will have all the elements you will need.

Yes, I use to dose with Essential Elements. In my opinion I think it was doing more harm then good. Now I just add B-Ionic 2 part, Iodine, cyclop-eeze and do water changes every week and my tank has been doing very very well for the past 5 months. With this method. My parameters are always on point. I don't check no where as often as I use to. I DO NOT add any thing else to my tank.
