Nope, actually unemployed. I had a little stash of money and decided to buy some stuff, spent way more than I should have, but I will sell frags later to make up the difference.

trying to keep a coco worm and SPS in the same environment can be difficult .coco worm's need high nutrient load in the water column and SPS prefer low nutrients for the best color and growth. According to Ronald L Shimek ,PH.D Protula Magnifca (coco worms)is a species demanding more care and feeding than most aquarists can give. Mine lasted about six months ,shed it's crown grew back a smaller one then about a month later quit coming out of it's tube (died)

well hopefully i can do it. i actually feed my corals once in the day and once at night and skim the excess out. i successfully keep anemones, clams, SPS, LPS, and sponges in the same tank without problems. everything eats during feedings, and the rest of the time the water is very clean. i have a few other tubeworms that are doing well, as well as hundreds of tiny ones.

i am not trying to say you are wrong, i just hope you are  I really hope that it makes it in my tank.

hey sassafrass im just gonna let you know that when cocco worms go back into there tube its not always that there dead they do actually go back in there tub for like 2 and even 3 months when they bud off a baby. Then when they do come back out there is a baby with them.

the rose milli was an ORA a long time ago, it has been growing in a LFS since they got it, the market here is really slow, so sometimes good stuff is overlooked, and stays in the LFS for a year.

The Granulosa and the Tricolor are money. Really nice. So is the Acan, but personally I would never pay $200 for 4 polyps. Just not something I'm willing to do . . .

abulgin: thanks

FYI, i got some smokin' deals, here's the breakdown:
Granulosa $60
Acan Lord $60
Rose Milli $90
Coco Worm $25
Oregon Tort
Purple Milli
Tricolor 3/$100
Fuzzy Tricolor $20-$5 trade in=$15

I have been on a good streak. I know some of these corals are worth 5x what I paid for them. I just have been going to the LFS, and they are slow selling things in the area, so most of them have been sitting for a long time

CeeGee: some day i will get a job

I've been reading up on coco worms and trying to prepare to keep it alive, but I noticed they have some sort of "roots" on the back end of the tube, should that be in the sand, or just out in the water, or does it matter.
