Can you confirm I have a gen 2 magnet?

Just received 2 new gen2's in the mail today. The vortech box's "seal" was cut and a piece of tape stuck over it. I am guessing the retailer was allowed to upgrade its gen1 stock to gen2. I may be paranoid, but just wanting to make sure my magnet is indeed a gen 2 magnet. (never had a gen 1) Can someone confirm? If this pic is not enough information, let me know. Thanks!

:thumbsup: looks good to me. The gen1 was clearly a metal looking surface. The new ones are black coated.

If the screw and nut are plastic, then it's Gen 2.
