BK skimmer

I'm in the market for a new skimmer and have interest in the Bubble Kings. I currently have a SPS system with roughly 500 total gallons and a larger fish load. First, I 'm curious what size you would recommend (300 or400). I would be interested in the internal units. Second, I have been looking at older BK units and it appears the older 400's have one standpipe and the new ones have 2...is this correct and if so what is the difference?

Hi,

I would recommend the Deluxe 250 Internal or the Super Marin 250. Either of those should do excellent on that size tank.

We'll have to check on the stand pipe question. They have made a few design changes and I imagine our pictures are out of date.
