cool vids, on the first vid, with every hit, the snail slowly rose out of the water....which made me think, well...shell-e is screwing herself over....until i saw the 2nd vid. lol such tenacity

Reminds me of when my mantis has a hard time with pulling a snail off the glass.

It will wrap the snail up and pull on it for a bit, then hide in its hole. Come over and look all round the snail before trying to pry it off the glass, then after that routine a couple or three times the bashing starts till either the mantis gets bored or the snail comes off the glass.

The looking to see why this food wont comply and come off the glass makes me laugh.

Apparently she heard this commotion as soon as she walked in her office from lunch, so she had to be making quite a racket.
