get fish out of tank ( ick)newbie

Well, my hippo has ick. I have never tried to get a fish out of the tank, this has been fun!!!I am getting a nice sunburn( 3 150 watt bulbs) I wore a hat the last try!!!My tank lid flips up--anyway--all of the other fish seem to love the mesh and love for me to hand feed them, they are all over my hand, the hippo, however is so skittich, any great ideas? I really need to get him out of there and treat him.

could drain the tank some less area to swim around.... also do u have any cleaner shrimp?

yes, I do have 2 cleaner shrimp, red banded ones, why?
