Your input on 55 Gallon reef pluming

Time to set up another tank. I'm going to drill a 55 gallon for two "overflows". what size bulk head and drill do you recommend for a tank this size? What size return pump.

I have a 75 gallon and I used 1 -3/4 holes for returns and an external little giant 3mdqsc pump. Is this too much for a smaller tank.

I would do no less than 1", but you dont want to just use two pipes in the tank, you will have very poor surface skimming ability that way

here is one idea. I set up a tank for a friend using two bulkheads and made an overflow out of pvc. pretty simple and easy to do
