What should I get for my clean up crew for my new 10 gal. I still have a couple of weeks before it cycles, but wanted to start planning for it now. For livestock I plan to have either a false percula clown, or a firefish, and a yellow watchman goby. I plan on doing water changes every other day of about 1/2 a gallon. I also want to keep LPS and maybe SPS later if my water quality is good enough.

Does any one have suggestions? Clean up crews have always been the thing I have the most trouble figuring out.

my biocube 8 has about 8 astra snails & 7-10 red & blue leg hermits

i also found a serpent sea star that was apparantly a hitchhiker from a piece of live rock i bought :D

i had an orange sea star that i actually bought, but i had a catastrophic failure from a piece of live rock w/ zoanthids on it & it was the first thing that died :(

thanks for your help, do the hermits bother the corals at all?

the only piece i have seen them on is the live rock that has the zoanthids on it...& that was just on the dying areas

just snails and shrimps, hermits might kill your snails if they dont get enough food

WOW, my 20G wont have anywhere near that amount of CUC or rock. 40lbs of rock in a 20g? Is that a bit much or no? Just curious since I am so new to this hobby.
