I had 2 money cowries in my tank over the last 2 yrs and purchased another two 3 wks ago, and tonight i spotted, what looks like a smaller /baby cowrie eating off one of my rocks !!!!! I cannot get a pic tonight as lights are off and he's right in the back.......but hopefully tomorrow !!!! would that have happened so fast ????? anybody else successfully bred these ?

No on the cowries but here's something simular my trochus snails have spawned in the display tank and succesfully reproduced heres a pic of a baby.

The little snail next to the astrea is what I'm talking about. I started out with 10 trochus snails I have about 25 now.

Can you post a pic of your cowrie's? I am very interested about things that are not pests that reproduce in the tank.
