Many have asked me for some more detailed info on the ZEO fliter taking center stage in Europe right now
The Fauna Marin Zeo matic.
The Zeo matic has been designed to take the maintenance out of running an Ultra Lith Filter, no more self purging the rocks by hand.
As you will see from the video freely available on the web, the ZeoMatics key to its success is in its self purging system. You have two options, hand plunging/purging or what the filter is mainly designed for auto purging. This is achieved by the employment of a high Flow air pump of a volume of up to 40L/Min set on a timer to purge the system as you so wish, thus fully automating the cleaning cycle of the Zeo matic
