I've read that some angels are aggressive to other angels, I have a 90gal and am having a hard time choosing between these 2 fish and was wondering if it were possible to have both!

If you add them at the same time, and you have plenty of hidding places (i.e. rocks) the you might be able to get away with it. Ive been successfull with keeping those exact same fish in my 92 corner bowfront, but Ive got over 150lbs of live rock in that tank. There was some initial chasing at first, but now they just avoid each other.

I agree, best chance for success is to add them at the same time.

I have both in my 120g with 200lbs of liverock and they never bother each other. They have been together for almost 2 years. I didn't add them at the same time and got lucky. My friend had a coral beauty and then tried to add a flame and lost it in 2 weeks. I added mine flame first then the beauty....I told him he did it backwards.... not that I think it actually matters...lol

not to hijack the thread away from you doublejesus but i'm glad someone asked this question 'cause i have wanted to do the same thing for a while myself and hopefully someone may be able to answer my question regarding a similar situation since we on the subject. i have a 110 gallon woth a cb in it now and have wanted to add either a potters or a flame angel but have been scared of the whole dwarf angels will kill each other theories. i plan on adding some additional lr to my tank at a later time, probably at least an additional 40 lbs or so, if i add the flame/potters at the same time as the lr would it be the same as adding both the cb and flame/potters angel at the same time since the aquascaping would be differant to the fish?

would probably help diffuse some of the territorial aggression. depends on whether you confuse the resident angel enough...

maybe i should try taking the angel out when i add the lr then add both angels back in together?

A 210 g is a long way from a 120 g, I think that's a great mix of angels for that size tank.
