So, I made a horrible mistake with my first coral in my current tank, a single head of frogspawn. To make a somewhat long story short I used a 2 part putty to bond the frogspawn directly to a very large peice of liverock that serves as the base of my reef. The frogspawn now has 5 heads and is quite large. I wants to frag 2 or 3 of the heads, but I cannot take the coral out of the tank without ripping the hole thing apart.

Does anyone know of an easy way to frag this coral while still in the tank?

Thanks in advance,

Sure, get your self a nice sharp pair of bone cutters.
Cut each head off slightly below where you see the flesh of the skeleton stop. You can also feel where the fleshy part stops. If there is a branch that comes out with 2 heads on it you can cut it at the branch and then you will have a 2 headed frag or you can cut them each individually. Just try to make nice clean cuts....
I believe it is that easy......
