Feeding Clams with yeast?

In his book, Knop mentions that bread yeast in suspention could be a good nutrition source for clams.
I've been using it for 3 months. Hard to say if it works or not...
Do someone know something about this?

If you haave the Knop book, your best bet is to study the information therein. I doubt anyone here will disagree with Knop about clam care.

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone here on the forum using this technique.
