Hammer coral

I have a hammer coral that will not expand but it is growing and I am trying to find out what is going on... It opens about 1/4in and that is about it... the part that i cant figure out is even though it is not opening it is growing new heads? any one have this happen to them before or have any ideas?

too much flow? if its growin, then its probably content. can u post a pic?

definitely sounds like it's in to much flow.

I would say to much flow also. Mine grew tremendously and I had to move it. The new spot had much more flow and it never came out as full as before. I ended up fragging it and moved it back to low flow areas and it came right back
