I've got two small white-spotteds in a 180.
(Don't worry, I will be upgrading to a pond when they need it)
But they are doing great right now.
I don't have any pics, right now.

My LFS has a 3 foot white tip reef shark. It's soooo awesome. Usually it's in a display tank built into the wall but they are doing repairs so it just swims in circles in like a 3 foot deep above ground pool.

I have kept in the past, Nurse, Brown Banded cat, Leapords and Woby's all in 200 gallon tanks. I was fortunate enough to have a friend that serviced large aquariums and would give them to me to get them feeding and healthy. Once they out grew my tanks he would house them in the larger service tanks.

You better be careful. The Wobbegong likes to eat other sharks. Especially thin ones lik the Coral Cats,Bamboos, and Epaulettes.

Haha... we had our 9" baby Tassled Wobby eat 2 Aussie Marble Cats... one 14" the other 17"! Now he is in time out... :) Out of his Juvie phase now... he is fine with the other sharks, as long as he stays fed!

Take a look on my website for pics of our babies!

Nice sharks percula. I've never heard of the Japanese Dochi Shark before. Can you shed some light on them? How big do they get, care requirements, hard to find?

Hey Percula,

Where did you get your Japanese Horn Shark (H. japonicus) from? It is gorgeous!

At the store we have a 1000 gallon tank. We always have Smoothhound sharks(fairly easy to take care of) and a very beautiful very active shark. We also usually have coral cat sharks and brown banded bamboo pups. Sorry I have no pictures.

Banded Houndsharks (Traiakis scyllium) are popping up as Dochi Sharks. They are cooler water and grow at least 60" Here are a couple pics for reference.

Yeah, Banded Smoothhounds favor Leopards quite a lot. But on Leopards, the markings are in a different pattern and a lot darker.

in the first pic it does look like a totally different pattern but the second one looks just like a leopard shark.

The Banded Houndsharks are members of the Triakis genus as are Leopard sharks, so it is no wonder they look so similarly. (not to be confused with Mustelus genus that Smoothounds belong to). Beautiful sharks none the less.
