i just bought a used aquazone plus 200 the probe was in the box whitout a plastic cap on ,the probe was dry and i don't know how old the probe is i plug the unit in whitout connecting the in/ out on the back of the unit just to see the digital display and it dont light up the red light is on so connected the probe and put it in the sump to see if that was the problem but nothing came on the digital display if the probe is finish could this be the proble that i cant get any numbers to show on the display or is the unit falty and if so is there a fix to the problem

It sounds like the unit is faulty unfortunately, although the dry probe doesn't help. Might be worth finding a good lfs who will allow you to plug it in with a good probe, and see what results you get. Any ozoniser should be used with an air drier to avoid damage.

Do you think that it still producing ozone just the same the red light come on i'm waiting for a new probe if it's just the digital display thats broken i'll just have to buy a ORP controler to monitor ,how can i tell if it's producing ozone let it on wait for a funny smell

Wouldn't suggest you sit there sniffing it! Seriously, it sounds like buying an ORP meter may be the best way.
