Nitrates at 0.05 using Salifert Test Kit. Opinions?

I was dosing 3 tsps. kalk/75 mls. vinegar/gallon rodi, until a few days ago. I reduced it to 3 tsps. kalk/ 45 mls. vinegar/gallon rodi.
My nitrate readings went form 0 to 0.5 using a Salifert Test Kit. Granted, it has only been a few days, but my nitrate readings were consistantly at 0 prior to this.

I would not draw any special conclusions from that difference. I'd just track it over time. I see no reason for limewater/vinegar to boost nitrate. :)
