I'm thinking about going ahead and getting my 300 gallon tank.I'm just trying to get an idea of my fish list I want. Now I know all of these fish wont all go in my tank at once or even go in the tank with each other. My question is which ones would you keep and which ones would you scrap?
1 Queen Angel
2 Passer Angel
3 Blue ring Angel
4 Koran Angel
5 Blue face Angel
6 Emperor Angel
7 Dragon Wrasse
8 Orang shoulder tang
9 Sohal Tang
10 Naso or Blonde Naso
11 Blueline trigger
12 Queen trigger
13 Dog face Puffer
14 1 to 3 lion fish
Like I said I'm not getting all of these fish these are just some of the fish I want.I plan on narrowing it down to a smaller list like I did my 72 gallon. If you have any fish you think would make a cool addition I would like to here them too

No matter what order you add it in the queen angel will be difficult in that it will be aggressive to the other fish

They are not in any particular order but what you are saying is the queen angel should be left off the list

Yes in my opinion this is only from what I have read not experienced

I believe you could put most of them in the 300 but you will need a powerful skimmer

Maybe this will help let me tell you the fish that is a must off that list and then yall what fish would be good to keep. The fish that is a must is the naso or blonde naso tang I love that fish. The second fish I want is a lionfish but if it wont get along with the naso it has to go

I you can find one that eats, I would add my favorite fish.

A Harlequin Sweetlips. They are very peaceful and extremely beautiful.

That's him in my avator and I have a few more pics in my gallery.

The only problem is, you have to find one that eats. They are tough to get to eat in captivity but if you can get lucky and find one, they are great.

I've had Toby for about 5 years or so. :)

I would remove the QT, Lions, and sohal.

The QT will get huge, and as it does will most likely kill off your other fish.
The lions will get picked on by the puffer, and triggers.
The sohal is a great fish, but the ones I have seen take over a tank.
Post this in the aggressive forum. People in there have large fowlr setup. So have experience with all these fish.

So out of the 16 fish that I have how many of them will fit.I had to narrow my 72 gallon list from like 50 something fish to eight. Is that Harlequin Sweetlip a picture of yours?

Hey the triggers can be replace by something else or they can be got later with the queen angel. But the dog face puffer man I kinda of wanted him

I would post the same thing on the FOWLR forum to get better results.

I've had both a Queen and a passer Angel. Queen's tend to dominate a tank but I wouldn't take it off your list. They're one of the most beautiful angels in my opinion. I'd narrow it down to only one large angel. It'll save you a lot of grief. Large angels don't mesh well with other large angels. I'd ditch the Queen trigger, Koran and the lions. The trigger will get MEAN, the Koran is beautifull as a juvenile but they get bland as adults, and lions are just kinda boring IMO. I'd leave the sohal on your list. They're one of my favorite fish. Just keep it down to one large angel and you're good. Now, if you HAVE to have two angels, get a younger (small) and an older (large). Add the small one in waayyyy before the large one, let the small one dominate, then add the large one. You'll end up with a stalemate, niether will be happy about it but hopefully they won't kill each other.

The puffers would be fine. The only problem you may have is him nipping the lions fins. Which could kill him.

What about this list?
1 Queen angel
2 Blue ring angel
3 Koran angel
4 Orange shoulder tang
5 Sohal tang
6 naso or blonde naso
7 blue throat
8 clown trigger
9 Sargassum trigger
10 dogface puffer
11 panther grouper
Again I know all of these fish will not fit in my tank

Mr. Brooks

If it was me, I'd take these off my list.

3 Koran angel (doesn't look as good as an adult, much better choices available)
4 Orange shoulder tang (takes a long time to get adult coloring, can look "dirty" as it's changing. I think there's better looking tangs available)
11 panther grouper (kind of common and gets HUGE)

I'd get a more interesting and rare puffer, like a Mappa. The Clown trigger will RULE your tank. Good luck finding a Sargassum, I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.

In my 72 gallon I have 2 maroon clown,1 midas blenny,1 orange spotted sleeper goby, 1 midas blenny,1 kole tang,1 orange spotted rabbitfish and 1 bicolor angel. What I'm going to do is take all my fish out of that that tank and put them in the 300 gallon and turn my 72 gallon into a QT and just give my 30 gallon QT away.Which fish off that list could I add to the tank with those fish?I was thinking naso tang, scibble angel, orange shoulder tang, and blue ring angel or naso tang, scibble angel and male and female blue throat trigger

Had a Lion, Black Trigger and DF Puffer together fine for 8 months then one day, the Lion was Gang raped by the puffer and Trigger. So beware :)

Really? There are 3 at my LFS right now. If I had a bigger tank I'd get one. Very sweet fish!
