Due to their feeding habits. But my LFS has a tank full of healthy ones for $15 each. I have a 40 breeder with 1/2" fine sand bed, a coral beauty angel and a blue/green chromis. Do you think I'd be ok with one?

scooter blennies are in the same family as mandarins. They are dragonetts and feed off of pods and other micro fauna

What are the chances it would transition to the frozen "meaty" food that I feed my fish? Plenty of that stuff makes it down to the sand bed before the fish get it.

60/40.. all the ones at the store end up eating brine and mysis but they still need a good pod population to survive long term ( JUst like madarine gobies) Both scooters and mandarines are both dragonets

sadly, I have lost 2 and won't try again. I don't think my pod population was mature enough the first time and the second time it started eating frozen mysis. "but" it was slow at getting food and I should have maybe fed it by itself. By the time it was eating frozen food, it was too late.
