My Regal Angel!!

Hey everyone!!!

It has been a while since I have posted any new pictures, so here it goes.

This is my Regal Angel, I have had her for a few months now, and she is an amazing fish. At first I had some problems getting her to accept frozen or dry foods. So I had to give her live little neck clams (she is spoiled) Now she is a little piggie. She eats anything. Currently her favorite foods are shrimp(mysis and white), clam(chopped), oyster(chopped), scallop(chopped), Frozen Algea gel cubes, Frozen angel foods, Krill, and she will even eat pelleted foods. She has become so tame that she will eat directly from my hand. Whenever I enter the room she and her buddies beg for food.

How is it so clean anyhow? My BB usually has a thin layer of dust and algae on it.

To be honest I am not really sure. I have a pretty high load of fish. The tank is an Elos System 70 so its 55 gallons. In the tank I have my beautiful Regal angel (3.5 inches) a very curious Potters Angel (2 inches) an amazing Flame Angel (2 inches) and a Pair of True Onyx Percs ( 2 and 1.5 inches). My water parameters are spot on and I have Zero Algea in the tank. I guess the main reason for the tank staying so clean is that first, the rock was in my 240 gallon tank. It was high up and had constant flow across it. Then it was transfered to a temporary 50 gallon bare bottom tank. This tank had three Koralia 4s, two Koralia 3s and one Koralia 1. Now it is in the Elos tank. In between each transfer the rock was thoroughly washed with clean slatwater. Another this that has been similar in every tank is high flow. In the tank pictured I use the stock eheim return pump and an Ecotech Vortec (on full power during the day and 50% at night.

Thanks for all the comments. Now all I have to do is get some corals in this baby. (oh yeah, all three angels have been in my 240 gallon tank with SPS, Softies, LPS, and Zoanthus. None of these angels or the others Ive had have picked on corals or clams. I have been very lucky)

I hope they arent too established in there... a lot of previously non coral eaters will like to sample the new corals introduced to their home, even if in the past they didnt eat them.

In the tank now they are in with some zoanthus. I am not too concerned about them picking on anything.

hey mind helping me out i got myself a regal angelfish but i seem to be unable to get it to eat.So wat do you mean by neck clams and where can i get it?
