so...I know there are systems out there that run SPS on only T5's...I'm basically wanting the same intensity but for an all anemone tank...tired of the electric bill of 3 MH. Need to cut back on bills to save for a house of my own...and quit renting this one...lol

Also...How many HO T5's equal 3 MH's on a 6' tank...in par or whatever?? Will prolly go at least on actinic bulb per 10k or whatever. Just don't know if I need to do 8 bulbs total. Or if 6 will do...so on. Also, I know quite a bit about which MH bulbs have great par and so forth. but don't have the slightest clue which T5 bulbs are good.

If it was mine, personnally I would run 2 banks of 8X39 with 4 lamps on each bank overdriven. But there others out there with more experience and knowledge than me. I would wait for Grim, and others to chim in.

won't need 8 bulbs. 4-6 will be fine in each bank depending on reflectors and species of anemone

so a total of 8-12 39w T5 will be plenty.

dteuton: 4-6 24w bulbs will do
