I got my rockwall all set and im in the stage of epoxying sand to the foam. What's the best way to apply the liquid-gel epoxy?

I tried it on a peice of cloth rubbing it in, I tried my fingers, and nothing is doing it well without 2-3 coats.

Any suggestions? Or a spray epoxy or something?

Hmm, How about a cheap paint brush the 1 dollar one's with the stubby bristle, they are a lot stiffer than a regular paint brush. Or even a basting brush for the BBQ they are stiff. Even a putty knife to get it on then a brush to spread evenly. How this helps

I just used a cheap $2 paint brush from Home Depot. Worked great. You can also use plastic syringes to inject the epoxy into hard to reach spots and holes.

West Systems 105 epoxy, 107 hardener, 300 mini pumps, and 807 syringes. Everting you need to make perfection.

The cheap throw away brushes work great, make sure to get the ones with tan bristles and not black...unless you want to watch it melt before your eyes.

I used Twenty Minute Cure from Bob Smith Industies and applied it with cheap fifty cent brushes from Lowes.

is West Systems stuff reefsafe?

I use it alot for other things, but not sure about chemical leeching issues.

yes the west systems is reef safe. give it at least 2 weeks to cure IMO. at the very least wait until you can no longer smell it. for me it was a little over a week but I waited longer just incase. your mileage may vary based on the temperature and how well ventillated the area is.
