Hey Everyone,

I've lost track of what everyone is bringing to frag. I have some super glue gel & two-part putty, but not much. If you have some extra of either one , would you bring it with you to the metting?

I know fireworm is bringing some super glue gel and some rubble rock and I have plenty of rubble and plugs, so should be set on stuff to mount the frags too, just need the stuff to bond the two together.

See you all on Saturday!!

Is that reef safe? Never heard of it before. The only putty I have ever used is the stuff from the LFS. I usually just use super glue gel.

I'm assuming you're talking about the two parter in the plumbing section. I've used plenty of it in the past and I don't care for it. It works, but doesn't seem to hold worth a crap after a week or so. I was at Menard's last night and picked up a tube just to have it for the meeting. Home Depot use to sell AquaMend that I thought was the best for the money. I haven't seen it for awhile. Also, Loctite isn't bad and I picked up an off brand from D&B to try out.

I have a stick of epoxy. I have never used it before. Been sitting for a couple of years. Hope it is still good.

Yes that is the stuff. I agree it's not the best to use. But with my short experience of using two part epoxy none seems to work very well. Or maybe it's just my bad luck. On another note if I brought a water sample would mind checking it? I just would like to verify my test kit's

Thanks
Brad
