I used some red slime remover and now my water has a red cloudy look to it. Is this bad or will it go away, or can I do someting to fix this?

It is probably the dead cyano releasing its contents into the water. Manual removal before using the remover is a good idea for this reason, but once you restart skimming and activated carbon, it will likely disappear fairly rapidly.

I dont have a skimmer yet. What else can I do to reduce the red cloud?

Oh, it might not have been best to use it without one, but a lot of GAC use after 1-2 days of letting the antibiotic work is a way to remove the released organic compounds.

GAC= Granular activated carbon. Do a 25% water change and run the carbon to remove the medicant and the released organics. Buy a skimmer asap.

GAC is granular activated carbon. Black pellets that you use in a filter to absorb organics from the water.
