I have an old CS6-2 skimmer with a Sedra 5000 pump and it's time to replace the impeller. I've searched the site for the part, but can't find it. Do you still carry this part, and if so, can you please provide the part number so that I can order online.

I've also heard that the Sedra pump can be replaced with a better more efficient model. Since this is the original pump, I'm thinking maybe it's time to replace it. What options do you suggest?

Thanks.

Hi Manny,

Here is a link to a needle wheel impeller for the Sedra 5000 pump. It's made by All Seas, so it's not EuroReef brand, although it appears to be the exact same impeller, probably made in the same factory in China.

We also have there complete replacement pumps as well at.

I think the Sedra is the best quality pump available for your skimmer right now. I heard EuroReef was doing some experiements with Eheim pumps on them, but never got them made.

So I could be wrong, but I don't think you'll get better then Sedra right now.

thanks
