Hi all,
This Tuesday coming up I will be picking up my 180 gallon tank with dual overflow and need some ideas as far as equipment. It is going to be an upgrade from my 100 gallon reef.
Currently I have dual 175watt halide in LB mini reflector and buying a 250 retro from one of the guys here. That will be my lighting system. Right now I have a mag 12 for return pump. what would ne the best one for the 180?
I will use my DIY MSX 200 clone, this should handle the new tank with out a problem. For tank circulation, I currently have 2 maxijet 1200 and a 900, Is a closed loop in order or should I just add another 1200 and then upgrade to tunzes down the road after I get it set up?
It is a mix reef right now but I want to go more SPS for the 180. I will build the stand and canopy I have seen a great build when I did a search on here. Any thoughts/suggestions is greatly appreciated.
