ok, so im going to change my main tank, its a 175 and i want more depth, so im going to get a starphire 48x36x25 made (190g), with a calfo external overflow on the back the length of the tank...

its predominently going to be an sps tank....

i have a snapper that im going to use as my return pump cranked down... i have an octopus external pro, which i dont know whether to upgrade or not... other spare equipment includes a tunze wavebox

i was considering an om 4 way with returns coming down at the back, 2 holes drilled low for water to come forward, and 2 drilled forward with water to go back...

i could go tunze or vortech tho and have a wavebox i could use...

lights im thinking 2 x 400w se 20k radiums w luminarc III reflectors and dimmable ballasts...

any suggestions????

The new Marineland series tank is 48x36x27 which is 200 gallon, and has a starphire front pane. You may want to consider this, since the dimensions are so close. It will probably be cheaper than getting one custom made. You can just drill the tank yourself. It has 2 overflows, 1 in each corner, as opposed to your design. Just a thought for you.
