Starting a 180

I'm planning a 180 with a 55 sump/fuge. I want to put a 2 inch sand bed in the display, and a 4 inch sand bed in the sump. Should I put the dsb in the main? Does it matter?

For the sump, I was planning 3 chambers: 1 for the drains and skimmer, one for the dsb, then the return. I'd like to put some chaeto (sp) in the same chamber as the dsb also.

Does it sound like I'm on the right track?

sump sounds reasonable. look at melevsreef.com for ideas on how to create the sump. i took a 75G glass tank, had glass cut locally and placed them with silicone for my 230G tank
