Hey guys, I am looking to order about 10-15 lbs of cured live rock (I know I will have to recure upon arrival) for my tank. I am looking for some really decorative peices and diversity of life, as well as color.

Is the nano live rock package form liveaquaria.com the best deal out there?

WOW! premiumaquatics has the shipping charge for 2nd day air at $68 for 15 lbs of rock, the same price as the rock itself. Why is it so different from the $23 overnight shipping from liveaquaria? What am I missing here?

I got 90lbs of Lalo from LiveAquaria (nice looking rock); 35lbs of Gulf rock from SeaLife, Inc. (this stuff was teeming with life --- all sorts of stuff!!) and 10lbs of rock from my LFS. The variety of rock gave me a variety of critters and quickly seeded my sand.

you can probably find good cheap rock online, but the shipping will kill you. i was going on this route then i just decided to check different saltwater fish places around my area and found a great place with rock at resonable price. too bad taxes here in chicago are to high:(

I got "Drs. Foster & Smith Select Fiji Premium Live Rock" from LiveAquaria.com and was very impressed. The pieces I received varied in size which allowed me to aquascape nicely and most of it was covered with nice coraline algae. I would definitely order from them again.
