What's the best pump to use, if using a phosphate reactor for carbon.
Also how long/often do you run the carbon before changing it?
Does the carbon run constant or 3 days a month, etc.?
Thank you!

Alot of people run carbon 24/7. Use a maxi jet 400-600 and place a ball valve to control the flow into the reactor.

But doesn't the carbon stop absorbing before a month?

To save energy, I'm running my TLF phosban reactors off a manifold from my return pump. One for phos, one for carbon. I matched the flows to a maxi jet 400.
