I have some wrasses and firefish who are known jumpers. I'm setting up my 120 now and was wondering if my custom canopy was enough to keep jumpers in? It is 10" tall on all four sides, so I don't see how they could get out. Standard canopies have the back open, this one will not. I'd rather not have a screen mesh lid since it will block light and be a pain to feed/get my hands in the tank. Will I be ok?

Me too. Just the canopy. I had a screen on top for a while but some fish managed to jump through but the netting prevented them from falling back in. Baked under the lights :( Removed the netting and have been fine.

Sounds good, I will go without the screen then. Thanks!

Odds are actually pretty good. I've had 3 wrasses jump through egg crate. One of them twice before the third time did him in.
