I really like the Hamilton 250 watt 14K. Great color.

I like the Reeflux 12K over the 14K Hamiltons. I found the Hamiltons to be too dim for my taste.

What ballast will you be running either of these two bulbs on? It kind of matters when talking about which one is better.

I like the Hamilton 14k MH. It gives a nice color and my corals have been doing very well under it. I use electronic ballasts due to the fact that they DO burn the bulb brighter! I used Hamilton 10k bulbs for a long time and the coral growth was amazing!! I actually needed the coral growth to slow down so the SPS would not battle and the Hamilton 14k bulb was the answer. I still frag out the SPS but not as much!

I am running the Hamiltons at the moment. I am due for a bulb change here soon. Just wanted some opinions on what is a good color bulb with the best par.
