Which Iwaki pump would you guys recommend to be used in sump to pump water through a 1/3 HP JBJ Arctica Chiller (requires 480 to 2400 gph)? Thank you in advance?

I have a JBJ 1/4 hp and use an Iwaki WMB30RLXT. Nice quite pump with no problems.

I was actually thinking about using that exact same pump; it can be run in-sump, correct? Or just external?

Iwaki pumps are external only.

Wow, thanks. I would have felt... silly. So, since external pumps are out of the question for me, what would the next best internal pump be? And by best I mean low heat and low noise...

Thanks!

How many gph do you want? That is a BIG range you gave.

I'm thinking about using a midrange of 800gph or so, and choking it back if I need to.

Oceanrunner 3500 is a great pump....900 gph, 65 watts, quiet, affordable. Good for flow but not pressure applications.
