HELP with clove polyps

i got neon clove polyps shipped to me yesterday and they really dont look normal. they are not opening. are they supposed to look like stems when they are closed? or can anybody just give me some help with what to do?

yesterday ?? give them another 2-3 days then post back. When they are newly shipped they may stay closed for a couple days or look ...odd

Yes, clove polyps are notoriously delicate shippers. When they first arrive they look almost like closed up zoanthid polyps, fleshy little bumps. If water quality is good in your tank they will open up in a day or two.

I just saw this happen with some cloves I ordered last week, they are great now and cloves grow extremely quick....
