I've been preparing to place an order with John at reefcleaners. However, my lfs got in some mangrove sprouts, so I picked them up instead. The sg of the tank was 1.024, and so is mine. How do you recommend acclimating them, as I'm aware that they're incredibly sensitive to parameters. For now, they're floating in the bag to keep the temp stable. I think I'll just run them in in a 5gal bucket with a heater, airstone, and realllllly slow drip (unless someone else knows a better way).

I wasn't aware that they were sensitive at all... the mangroves in Florida Bay (especially the red mangroves, which is probably what you have) have to continuously deal with salinity swings from 10-40ppt. They can be grown in freshwater. I had a couple in a pot (yes, with soil) for a few weeks, eventually I just pulled them out, rinsed the roots and put them in the sump. They're growing.

Well, they're not sensitive to salinity, but rather very sensitive to changes in salinity.
