Anyone know if these are even worth the $20.00 Plus shipping?

You pay for what you get in this hobby I wouldn't buy them if you do don't expect to get the life expectancy you would with a better bulb.

I know of a few people that use them, and replace them every 6 months. they have been having great results.

One of them has a PAR meter and says they are only slightly less then some main stream bulbs.

I will by trying them out as soon as mine arrive next week and borrowing the PAR meter to compare them with some of hte other old bulbs I have.

FYI though, the ratings seem to be a bit off. the 10k is pee yellow, the 14k is white and the 20k is just a bit bluer then a 14k should be. But this is on mag balasts.

I agree with an411 - You get what you pay for.

I haven't bought from that ebay seller but from past, horrible ebay experience, just be sure there is some type of warranty if the bulbs go out in a couple of weeks as mine did. I basically threw $60 down the drain.

Not worth it. XM's will last 12-18 months easily. At $60, you get a bulb that is proven and you only have to change once every 12-18 months, whereas with the ebay bulb, you get crap that you have to change every 6 months.
