I'm moving 2 fish from a 24g nano to a new 125g and there's a 12" long bristle worm in the nano. Should I put the worm in my new DT?
It only has a 1" sand bed...

It'll have plenty of room if you have lots of live rock. I think with one that big though, I'd get rid of it...lol. The big ones seem to give me the heebie jeebies~!!!

sounds like a refugium worm to me.

I agree with chimmike, if you must keep him the refugium seems like the appropriate place. They're detritus eaters and waste removers which is nice, but I had one get about that big and a couple of weeks later I had like 50 1-2 inch ones all over the place. I kid you not it was worse than aptasia.

If it were me I'd transport it to my garbage can. Be careful not to touch it with your bare hands as they will sting you!!! use a tweezers!

I have one in my fuge, don't know how he survived or where he hid, but he's about 5" long now.

I would move it to the display tank. Several online vendors sell them as part of their detritus kits and they are beneficial.
