What do you think it would cost to power the equipment needed for such a tank? $500 month?

I pay $250 a month here in CA, thats running my electricity for general purposes and my 190g. Probably ~$1000/mo Id imagine. Assuming you went with a bunch of flow and lights.

Depends what type of stuff you're going to do with it, if it's in your house that's already heated, might not need as much power heating (although I suggest this would be the largest drain) you can always use the sunlight to light it. Water movement? A ton of Tunze 630x along the tank... no problem!

Of course if you're going for a tank that size you probably have the cash to not care about the electricity.
