how should i go about feeding my new wrasse that doesn't want to eat the flakes or frozen food i feed on a normal basis but he did eat in the store. i want to get the live bugs but not the type that you throw in and get eaten right away. the type I'm looking for will bread in the tank and stay a while in the rocks and sand until the rock is grazed at.

you could try the reef nutrition tiger-pods. they are live orange pods that will breed in the tank.

Ask what type of food he was eating at the store, and buy some of that.

he was eating pellets but He doesnt seem to want to eat the flakes or frozen food i feed the tank. I've also tried live blood worms, and cyclo-peeze. I dont know what else to try other then the bugs I mentioned that live in the rocks which the fish graze on.

I forgot to mention, The leopard is always swimming around (when he's out) and is constantly grazing on the sand and rocks, so I think I should stock up on pods, I just don't know which ones. Copepods, amphipods, brine shrimp?

Thanks

Why not get some of the same type of pellets that he was eating in the store? Sometimes it's just a process of getting used to the food that's available ...

Frozen mysis

tried frozen mysis, and I guess it wont hurt to try the pellets they feed at the store. I do have a small container of them, and I guess its worth a shot, I just figured flakes and pellets would sort of be the same thing.

Thanks again.
