Melev is top notch. I have purchased sumps from him and I just received my RO/DI from him this week. It is an extremely high quality unit and produces 0 TDS water. customer service is 2nd to none.

Melev has a good product and is a long time contributor here.
The Aqua FX units are way overpfriced and not near the quality you find here for much less money. For what they want you could alost get a Spectrapure MaxCap which is the absolute best system on the planet.

Add me to the MAXCAP list. Also, SpectraPure has awsome customer service and you can ask questions directly to them via their forum here. I've had several incidents over the years and they have always helped promptly.

Example: My water is high in CO2. CO2 eats up DI filters very quickly (which I did not know). With the help of them we figured out my problem and instead of making me buy another DI filter ($30) they sent me one for free (and paid for s/h from AZ to NC which can't be cheap). As a side note, I got about 50gal. of 0 tds water out of their DI filter compared to about 20gal. from a competitor's DI under the same conditions (both before I learned about CO2 eating up DI cartridges quickly).

One more example: I originally had a CSP-DI unit which comes w/ a purity monitor that tells you when your DI needs to be changes. Well, the manufacturer that made the monitor's had stopped making them awhile before my probe went bad. Instead of blowing me off and telling me "sorry the manufacturer doesn't make them anymore you'll have to remove it or buy another type of monitor" they searched their shop and found a probe hiding in a drawer. They mailed the new probe to me w/ my order for $5 (which I think is less then what they charged for replacements before).

Spectrapure MaxCap would be the top of my list. Their hand tested membranes save on DI cost down the road.
