So I have these green things taking over one side of my tank. They are growing on everything. They look similar to button polyps but I don't think that is what they are. So first I need to know what they are and then if they are something I can get rid of and how?
Thanks for any help.

I would think if they were a form of aptasia that my peppermint shrimp would have taken car of them a long time ago, as they did with the aptasia that I did have.

zoas! EBAY! or can take to your LFS for a trade. lot of new reefers look for softies like that to start their tank.

majano most likely, the bubbles on the tips of the fingers is usually not on zoas or palys

There are very many types of colonial anemones inthe sea, no matter the name these seem to have become a pest in this tank.As far as I know kalk mixed with water to form a paste then microwaved until it boils or Joes Juice will destroy any of them.By the way they look like what I was told was majano to me also.
